Yes, We Chose Lebanon, Tennessee
On February 7th., we will be celebrating our first full year living in our new house out in Lebanon, so I thought I would share a few thoughts. So far, we love living out here and I am looking forward to meeting new friends. The day we moved in, we had several neighbors stop to introduce themselves. We even had some banana nut bread dropped off by a sweet couple two houses down. We knew at that moment that we have settled in the right town.
Being from Nashville, and moving here from Mt. Juliet, we really like the laid back atmosphere that living in a small town can bring. It can be very tranquil. Every time I get out in town there is always a friendly wave from a stranger.
I will say that I have found the places to dine a little limited outside the chain restaurant selections, but we have enjoyed a few local spots. Some of my favorite places are Market Basket Liquors, Sammy B’s, Bangkok Pad Thai and shopping at Lebanon Premium Outlets. Also, there are a lot of smaller, family owned businesses, and we love supporting them.
Because I do internet marketing, I am excited to meet and network with a lot of small to medium size business owners. So, over the next few months I plan on developing some opportunities to work with a lot of local folks.
Wrapping up, I just want to say “thank you” for providing such a welcoming atmosphere that only a small town with a lot of charm can offer. Me and my wife look forward to living in Lebanon, TN, long into our retirement.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, and please feel free to comment or just say hello when we meet out in public.
